As part of Advent we studied stained glass and we made stained glass cookies out of sugar cookie dough and crushed up life savers. I've attempted this once before with the same results; cookies that look pretty but are stuck to the cookie sheet. I guess using a lot of cooking spray is not the key to keeping these from sticking to the sheet. We had a really hard time getting these off and when it was all done, they didn't even resemble cookies anymore. We all enjoyed eating them anyway ;). Do you think we needed to use wax paper instead?
My middle child spent the afternoon creating these little creatures. She loves God's creatures...even the little creepy crawly ones.

We really liked this ornament. It's a rainbow for God's promise and an ark. My girls knew the story and the promise God had made but I was surprised that my son did not remember it. Advent was a little bit rushed today so there wasn't much discussion. We didn't have a chance to read the next chapter in Jotham's Journey either :( .

The cookies are very pretty! Have you ever tried baking with Parchment Paper? That may keep them from sticking? The only other thing I can think of would be to bake them on a baking stone (like the kind you get from Pampered Chef), that would also probably work.
